Terms of Use
Effective date: 12 September 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of nhoma.app (“Nhoma”, “the service”, “we”, “us”), operated by Waripixel, established in Arlington, Texas, United States. By using the service — including opening a document someone sent you — you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: hello@nhoma.app.
2. What Nhoma is
Nhoma is a tool for writing simple agreements, sending them to another person, and signing them electronically. It includes optional AI-assisted features that draft document structure from text, voice, or photos. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is handled.
Nhoma is not a law firm. Nhoma automates document structure matching. We do not provide statutory legal advice or professional legal representation, and nothing produced by the service is legal advice. Whether a document you create is valid, enforceable, or suitable for your situation depends on its content and your jurisdiction — if in doubt, consult a qualified lawyer.
3. Access links, keys, recovery — and your duty to back up
Nhoma has no user accounts. Access to a document is controlled entirely by the capability links and keys created for it, which are stored on your device and in any backup or recovery email you make. Anyone holding a document's link can act on it, so treat links like keys.
You must keep your own backup. Because there are no accounts, there is no password reset and, by design, no server-side way to reissue a document's keys. When the service offers you a backup file — a small file holding your links and recovery code — downloading and keeping it, or otherwise storing your links safely, is your responsibility. If you decline the backup and later lose your links, the document becomes permanently inaccessible: we cannot restore access for you or for anyone else.
An email address is not a credential. Entering an email address alone never grants access to any document, past or current. Recovering lost links requires both the email address previously saved on the document and the recovery code from its backup file, and emailed copies of a link are only ever sent to the address already saved on the document by a holder of its owner link.
4. Your content and responsibility
- You own the content you create. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, store, transmit, and process it solely to provide the service (including passing your inputs to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy).
- You are responsible for what your documents say and for having the right to include any content, personal data, or uploads you add.
- You confirm the people you send documents to have agreed to be contacted and to deal with you electronically.
5. Electronic signatures
Signatures made through Nhoma are electronic signatures intended by the parties to be binding between them. Each signer confirms this intention at the moment of signing by accepting a consent statement, which is stored with their signature. Nhoma records the signed version, the signature, the time, the consent given, and technical context (including the network address and device details, as described in the Privacy Policy) so the signature can be attributed and verified later. The sender of a document may additionally require the signer to pass an identity verification (a government ID plus a selfie face-match) before signing; the check is run by our verification provider on its own pages, is free for the signer, and its outcome and the verified name become part of the signature record, as described in the Privacy Policy. Nhoma is a signing platform, not a party to any agreement made through it, and has no interest in or responsibility for the underlying transaction. We do not guarantee that an electronic signature satisfies the formal requirements of every document type in every jurisdiction (some documents legally require notarisation, witnesses, or wet ink). Checking those requirements is your responsibility.
6. AI features
AI-generated drafts, transcriptions, extractions, and suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or inapplicable to your situation. They are a starting point, not advice. Review everything before sending or signing. You are responsible for the final content of your documents.
7. Payments
- Some features (such as document export, voice/photo extraction, and additional AI builds) require a one-time Premium Pass, a build pack (a fixed number of AI builds valid for a limited period), or a monthly builder add-on subscription. The current price, scope, and validity of each is shown at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe or Polar on their hosted checkout pages, under their terms. We never handle card details.
- Passes and packs are tied to the purchase token delivered to you; keep it safe as it is your proof of entitlement.
- Digital services begin immediately on purchase. Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that the right lapses to the extent the service has been performed.
- Email sending from the service is quota-limited per pass to prevent abuse.
Cancellations and refunds
- Refunds — 15 days. You may request a refund of any purchase within 15 days of payment. The refund is the price paid minus the value of what was already consumed, at each benefit's standalone price shown at checkout — for example AI builds used (at the build-pack rate), identity checks performed, and any gift documents included with a plan that were already redeemed. If everything the purchase included has been consumed, no refund remains.
- After 15 days, purchases are non-refundable. This is disclosed at checkout. It does not limit statutory rights that the law of your country of residence grants you — including the 14-day withdrawal right for consumers in the EU/UK, which the 15-day window fully covers — or any remedy for a service that was defective.
- One-time, immediately delivered purchases (such as a per-document upgrade or an identity check) are performed in full at the moment you use them; once performed, they are consumed for refund purposes.
- Plans never renew automatically. A paid plan runs for exactly the period you bought and then ends on its own. We never charge you again unless you actively make a new purchase; we may remind you shortly before a plan expires so you can renew if you want to.
- Cancelling is possible at any time, without contacting support. Because nothing renews by itself, cancelling never stops a future charge — there is none. Within the first 15 days it works as a refund request under the rule above; after that, no refund is due, and you simply keep full access to everything you paid for until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds and included gift documents. If a subscription is refunded, its unredeemed gift documents are voided; redeemed ones are deducted from the refund at their standalone price.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Nhoma to:
- create or send unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harassing content, or documents impersonating another person or organisation;
- send unsolicited bulk email or otherwise abuse the email feature;
- circumvent quotas, human-verification, or payment controls;
- probe, disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service;
- upload malware or content that infringes others' rights.
We may suspend or remove documents and block access where we reasonably believe these Terms are being violated, and we may report unlawful activity to authorities.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service reliable but provide it “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, add, or retire features; if we ever discontinue the service we will give reasonable notice so you can export your documents.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control, and our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the greater of €50 or the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury), and nothing affects the statutory rights consumers have in their country of residence.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States — where Waripixel, the operator of Nhoma, is established in Arlington — without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally via hello@nhoma.app.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the current version is always at this page with its effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
